Teneile Warren – Executive Director

teneile

Teneile is a writer by nature, but a strategist through experience. With more than decade of experience as a playwright, creative writer, copywriter and business developer, Teneile understands firsthand the personal and social impact of storytelling. She brings a passion and strong business sense to her role.

Teneile joined Literature for Life as a facilitator and continues to facilitate one of the Women with Words Reading Circles. Thus, she places a keen focus on making sure that the participants are always placed first in strategy and development planning.

A rare find, with both an artistic and business sense, Teneile is a published Writer, produced and award winning Playwright and, admittedly, a little bossy (oldest child syndrome).  She credits her grandmother for introducing her to books. “The world began with a sentence; make of that what you will.”
