Author Visits

Author Allan Stratton Visits Humewood House Reading Circle

November 2013 – Canadian author and playwright Allan Stratton paid a visit to the Women with Words Reading Circle held at Humewood House to visit the participants and discuss his novels. The group is currently reading his book Leslie’s Journal, a staple in the Literature for Life Reading Circle curriculum. All photos taken by volunteer photographer Ted Blackbourn.

 

Literature for Life Moves into History!

October 2013 – Literature for Life moved into a new office space this month – we are now head-quartered in the historic George Brown House on the corner of Beverley and Baldwin. Thank you to all our volunteers and staff who assisted with the move, especially Kelley, Charlotte, Jora, Rebecca, David, Jason and Jeff!
